Bad and sad news stories are continuously filling up the news…and we are tired of it.
We were so inspired by Emily Coxthead’s idea with The Happy Newspaper in the UK, that we have adapted it as a project that involves every single member of our academy.
Every class is working on re-writing stories that are up-lifting, positive and heart-warming to make an impact on our students and bring us all some positive news to brighten our day!
So, WATCH THIS SPACE! Soon we will be publishing our very own newspaper: The Happy Cottage

Why are we doing this?
Easy. We want to fulfil our motto: ‘we don’t just teach, we care’, and remind the world of the one we added a few months ago to ‘make kindness the norm’.
We believe that sharing these stories can make a better and happier world for everyone, and leave negativity aside, at least for a little while.
